Key facilities. Three fully equipped laboratories (80 m2 each) for modern organic synthesis. A complete range of research equipment for organic synthesis, characterization, and materials processing, including: 400 and 500 MHz multi-nuclear NMR facilities; optical spectroscopy UV/Vis/NIR, FTIR, and fluorescence; photo-induced absorption spectrometer, time resolved spectroscopy in the nanosecond and femtosecond time range, DSC and polarization microscopy; ESI and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry; cyclic voltammetry; and various analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, GPC, and elemental analysis). A clean room equipped with a large range of thin film deposition and characterization equipment, including metal and molecular thermal evaporators in glove boxes. Furthermore, TEM, SEM, AFM and STM instruments are also available. The facilities of the Institute IMDEA-Nanoscience, where the PI leads another lab are also available for devices preparation and characterization.
